Prochain open mic le mardi 17 mars (lien sur HelloAsso !), et il y aura un thème : compositrices et parolières femmes !

Pour l’open mic de mars, si vous souhaitez chanter, nous vous proposons d’apporter une chanson de comédie musicale écrite par au moins une femme (musique et/ou paroles).

Concrètement :

• Il peut s’agir d’une chanson dont la musique a été composée par une femme mais pas les paroles, ou inversement• Il peut s’agir d’une chanson écrite par plusieurs personnes : la présence d’au moins une compositrice ou parolière suffit• Pensez à vérifier la composition de l’équipe créative : certaines comédies musicales comptent plusieurs auteur·ices, et il est important qu’il y ait au moins une femme parmi elles et eux

Nous vous invitons aussi à faire preuve de créativité : si vous choisissez une comédie musicale très connue, pourquoi ne pas explorer une chanson moins souvent interprétée ?Par exemple, si vous aimez Lynn Ahrens et souhaitez chanter Anastasia, vous pourriez opter pour The Countess and the Common Man plutôt que Journey to the Past.

Après avoir passé beaucoup de temps à partager des idées et des inspirations, créer une co-direction artistique au sein du Broadway Chic est devenu une évidence.

Voici donc notre Co-Directrice Artistique (et Présidente) Maria-Cristina Iglesias, ainsi que notre Co-Directeur Artistique LJ Z. Galvez. Toutes et tous deux continueront à co-diriger divers projets artistiques pour notre association !

Et si vous avez des idées de projets artistiques que vous aimeriez développer et que vous pensez que le Broadway Chic serait le bon endroit pour les porter, vous pouvez contacter l’un·e ou l’autre d’entre eux pour partager vos idées.

Et soyez rassuré·e·s : même si leur liste d’inspirations est déjà longue, elles et ils sont toujours ravies/ravis de découvrir vos propositions et d’y réfléchir ensemble !

Un jour, Jazzanie et David se sont approché·e·s du Bureau du Broadway Chic et ont dit : « Notre open mic mensuel est formidable, mais ce n’est pas suffisant. Nous avons envie de voir plus souvent les gens du Broadway Chic, parce que nous pensons qu’il y a un immense potentiel d’amitié et de merveilleux moments de partage. »

C’est ainsi qu’est né Le Social Chic, un groupe de travail qui, depuis l’été dernier, organise des activités sociales pour les membres du Broadway Chic, toujours en lien avec les comédies musicales et la musique.

Tout récemment, Lucile a rejoint cette équipe, et iels préparent déjà de nouvelles activités pour 2026.

Si vous avez des idées de rencontres ou d’événements sociaux pour notre association, n’hésitez pas à contacter Jazzanie, David ou Lucile !
