Tomorrow night on , Moe Choukair and Khajoola get together for a b2b live stream from The Tori Room at 7pm Bethlehem time (6pm CET). The set will include tracks from Land 02 and Land 03, compilations produced by Tunefork Studios and Beirut Synth Center to raise funds for the displaced in Lebanon with a direct link for donations throughout the live stream, also welcoming in-kind donations at The Tori Room on that day.
Moe Choucair is a multidisciplinary artist working across sound, film, and performance. He co-founded and directed The Ballroom Blitz, a key Beirut venue and creative hub, until 2024.
He performs as Bakisa and No Breakfast Club (formerly jackthefish), with appearances on Boiler Room and Mixmag. His work moves between music and visual art, including Air Pressure by Lawrence Abu Hamdan, shown at MoMA and the Pompidou Centre.
He also collaborates with platforms like Ma3azef, Radio AlHara, and Keakie.
Khajoola is an up-and-coming DJ from Beirut, rooted in the world of music curation. Her selection moves between slow, intimate, sensual sounds and sharper, upbeat, dancy tracks. True to her name—khajoola, meaning “shy” in Arabic—her sound embodies the contrast between the stereotypical shy girl and the sassiness beneath the surface.
