The Latin adjective "ignifer" means "carrying fire." In Anna Vogel's series of the same title, there’s a striking analogy between "carrying fire" and "fighting fire." The works depict aerial fire-fighting without the planes, showing only fire retardant chemicals in colors like red, blue, and white spraying over empty landscapes. Vogel's meticulous digital and manual interventions in found photographic footage subtly erase the aircraft, leaving a sense of nature and catastrophe. *Ignifer* explores the Anthropocene, blending prehistoric and post-apocalyptic imagery. Drawing on theories of the Sublime, from Burke to Kant, her work reflects humanity's confrontation with overwhelming natural forces—similar to the awe evoked by vast mountains, oceans, or storms.

Tarek Lakhrissi investigates means of entry, re-imagining constraining spaces by conjuring the metaphysical space of ‘hell’. Drawing from his background in literature, Lakhrissi delves into a revised version of Dante’s Inferno, considering Monique Wittig’s le***an re-writing of the same. In Wittig’s experimental narration, l’enfer is a place with rigid conditions, both social and climatic. But unlike Dante’s story, hell is often more common-looking than it seems: it’s accessed via a bar or a pool club, and it’s a place or a situation where Wittig is faced with difﬁcult decisions that put into question her choices in a normative world. Lakhrissi’s work embraces the q***r tools embedded in Wittig’s quest, making space for transformative narratives. If ‘hell’ is a place where undesirables are relegated, then Lakhrissi makes it hospitable for all those who are ‘other’. Giulia Civardi

Since 2018, INTERSOS has consolidated its proximity medicine services thanks to mobile clinics able to reach these informal settings: our intervention targets the most vulnerable and marginalised, migrants and informal workers.

Larissa Fassler continues her exploration of Parisian public spaces, which began in 2009, focusing on the Bourse du Commerce during a residency at the Musée d’Orsay. Her new series consists of ten works representing different times and temperatures of day, inspired by Monet’s depictions of Rouen Cathedral. Without using an architectural plan, Fassler mapped the area by counting her steps and marking pedestrian paths in blue or red pen. Crosses indicate people who are stationary, while shadows in various colors reflect the intense heat and light. Central themes include the eye, sun, orbit, and eclipse, enhanced by wallpaper that replicates the glass roof of the Bourse du Commerce.

This solitary sea anemone feeds by catching food with its tentacles, and it constantly “pulses” via peristaltic movements Among other fascinating biological abilities, it regenerates its entire body from a small fragment in only a few days. Irene Kopelman studied these starlets at Röttinger Lab, where they researched marine animals through various projects.
