Visual artist and sculptor reinvents the myth of the Amazon through a monumental installation staging a swarm of 888 arrows and a gigantic, graciously curved bow positioned towards two breast-shaped targets set in front of Andrée Putman’s famous escalator at
Prune Nourry was inspired by the myth of the Amazons, who legend has it would cut off their right breast to make them better archers. Playing with the characteristic symbols of the warrior, the artist has created an installation around three major components: a breast-shaped target, a bow and arrows.
