We stocked 20 new fish this week from our stock pond at Bluewater lakes. We were astonished to see how big these fish have grown this year!… 2 years ago all these fish were between 6-12lb now they are all 28-38lb 😮…. These are summer weights aswell remember!…. We have another 85 of these beauties in our stock pond which are all stacking on the weight and will be introduced over the next few years 😉… thanks to all the lads involved Carpers Journal 🤝

Catch report for 22nd - 29th August 2026…. 2 guys on last week with a total of 4 carp landed…. Sadly it was very tough going last week… we have seen it many times before that less angling pressure can be more of a disadvantage than an advantage. The guys did everything they could including fishing opposite ends of the lake in the hope to cover as much water as possible…. the carp always seem to be anywhere there are no lines. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Catch report for 15th - 22nd August 2026…. 4 guys on last week with a total of 37 carp landed…. Highlight’s of the week was Robo in swim 5 who caught a 60.04lb & 52.02lb. Cider in peg 3 had a 59.02lb & 50.14lb. Jason in peg 9 had a 57.10lb & 55.00lb. Gary in peg 8 also had a 56.12lb & 52.00lb common…. Well done lads a nice group 🤝

Catch report for 8th - 15th August 2026…. 6 guys on last week with a total of 20 carp landed…. Highlight’s of the week was Craig in swim 6 who caught a couple of pb commons at 60.02lb & 56.00lb. Paul in peg 2 also had a 59.03lb common. Ant in peg 9 also had 2 commons at 56.08lb & 54.08lb. Ron in peg 3 had a 52.08lb common. Harry in swim 5 also landed a common just over 50lb…. Plenty of common’s slipping up 😎👌🏻…. Well done lads a nice group 🤝

Catch report for 1st - 8th August 2026…. 5 guys on last week with a total of 18 carp landed…. peg 3 still being the most productive but all the guy’s did manage to catch which is always good 👌🏻… highlight’s of the week was James with both of those cracking Czech commons at 69.12lb & 57.06lb… well done lads and great photos 👏

Catch report for 25th July - 1st August 2026…. 6 anglers on last week with a total of 34 carp landed…. Aaron in peg 3 did really well with 17 carp landed which included him beating his pb twice in a week with a 61lb common and 60lb Mirror. He also had another common just ounces under 60lb and another mid 50 common. Peg 5 was fairly consistent but not as great as last week. Peg 6 managed to nick a few which included a 50lb common. Peg’s 2 & 9 was fairly quiet this week but Sharon in peg 2 managed to get a few mid week. Then Luke who was in peg 9 got a couple last night so maybe a few fish have now started to creep back down that end…. Well done guys and girls 👏

‼️Hot weather fish care - Rule change‼️

Due to the persistent hot weather we are now asking that any fish caught during the day time regardless of size are to be photographed in the water.

(Please bring waders unless you don’t mind getting wet).

Catch report for 18th - 25th July 2026…. 6 guys on last week with a total of 30 carp landed…. The guys were greeted by much cooler daytime & nighttime temps than what we had endured over the last month. After such a long spell of relentless heat the weather did look promising. Majority of the fish seemed to be peg 3&5’s end of the lake but all the lads did manage to catch including 3 x pb’s for Keith, Clive & George👌🏻… well done lads 👏

A Friday night award ceremony for the guys on this week 🎣🏆

🏆 Top rod - Keith Mcance duly earned with a total of 13 carp landed including 7 over 50lb+ topped by a 71.10lb common 👏

🏆 Top Nod - Zac Harley + George Evans - joint top nod’s 😂… Although both lads have caught this week, Zac ended up catching the smallest carp of the week & George even after catching a pb ended up with it for catching a 6inch roach on his carp rods 😩👏

Catch report for 11th - 18th July 2026…. 6 guys on last week with a total of 9 carp landed…. It was still another hot week so the lads had to work very hard for it 🥵….. the group on this week however have finally been greeted by cooler weather and as expected the fishing has switched on…. 👀🎣🐋🐋
