Pourquoi venir écouter Cédric Tiberghien le samedi 6 juin à 18 h à Meslay ?
Pour entendre un grand pianiste fasciné par le travail de Beethoven sur les Variations Diabelli. « Beethoven, avec les Diabelli... fait éclater la valse et la plie à son génie. Le thème n’est plus qu’un alibi, une étincelle de départ. Beethoven a été un pionnier du travail sur le matériau thématique. » explique Cédric Tiberghien sur Concert classic. Il viendra nous éclairer, en musique et en mots à la Grange de Meslay.
Le pianiste à la carrière internationale et aux concerts toujours originaux proposera une version enregistrée de ces 33 variations sur une valse de Diabelli (mise en regard avec d’autres compositeurs comme Ligeti ou Kurtág ) le 19 juin prochain chez Harmonia Mundi. A Meslay vous en aurez l’avant-première !
