A great looking fencing using a combination of new, and recycled materials. A secondhand gate modified and fitted to new posts, 1 meter high stock mesh with 120mm corner posts and 60mm interim posts. The client also specified an electrified outer perimeter fence. 👍

This is a green oak post and rail fence I recently completed. The posts and rails were produced at a local saw mill. The fence is 85 meters long, with a 3 meter galvanized gate at one end, and a 4 meter gate at the other. The fence has 1 meter sheep mesh and a 40mm electrified tape on the top rail fitted on the field side in order to contain goats and horses. The key to weatherboard (bardage agricole) is to make sure that all runs are level with each other. The task here was to remove some old garage doors, and create a carport type entrance to the space. I think the weather board looks great on this application and hides the old breeze blocks nicely. 👍

The brief here was to create two parking spaces in the banking, but to dispose of the spoil in the field behind the building. The only access was the small gap between the two buildings shown in the first picture. Dug out approximately fifteen tonnes of material, and disposed of through tight access , by one person, in one day. I can provide a fixed quote, or work on day rate, both include labour, all of the required machines for the job, fuel, insurance, and TVA. - unbeatable value! 👍

This is an ongoing project and the purpose is to receive water pressure at the back of the house and reroute any in ground and surface water elsewhere at the same time. The trench passes a well on its way to the sump and also an in ground water pipe creating a good opportunity to connect the well to an existing watering system. Once the trench is completed, the ground will be terraced using stone found on site and graded to slope away from the house. 👍

I returned yesterday to complete a nice 5 bar western gate install that I started last week. The posts are set in to the ground approximately 75cm and the hinge post is set in concrete. Left for a week to cure, and then the hinges are drilled to set the required base height. Once that’s done, it’s a case of leveling the gate and setting the latch. I’ll visit again in a week or two to check sag and adjust accordingly. Job done. 👍

Today I’m back at a four acre site that I cleared last year of brambles which were between four and six foot high. After the first cut of the season, it’s looking pretty good. With careful cutting and management over the season, this will area will become pasture land by next summer. 👍

The final project on a larger contract which also involved a driveway extension, some land drainage and finding a soil pipe. Here I fitted around 80 meters of basic post and rail fencing with some hand made gates. The purpose of the fence was to keep the goat out of the garden and dogs in, so I used also used a one meter high stock mesh behind the rails. This will work well, and will make a great framework to grow some plants up in the garden. On to the next job! 👍

My client was looking for a simple and cost effective way to create more parking. I dig the grass out to the right by 2 meters, compacted and relayed the edge stones in their new position. I layed, 2.5 tonnes of 0/31.5 stone and compacted, I’ll add some 4/10 gravel next week and blend back to the original driveway. 👍
