It’s been too hot for too long and I’ve no energy to even go to the beach so I’m staying home painting my springtime front door view. I’ll be adding details to the flowers today and remembering cooler mornings . 50x 100 cm, oil on canvas

Finished the preliminary watercolor drawing of the tunnel to the beach. I would love to do an oil painting of this if anyone is interested in commissioning one😊 The colours and light will be more intense with oil paint

Finished a commission for Maya’s graduation. I had never met her so all I had to go on were photos and was so happy that it actually looked like her. I am not a portrait painter, never studied it, and it was torture but am happy with the result.

I’m basically retired and will only be painting for myself, gifts for friends and occasional commissions if I’m free to do as I please. Here are the last of my paintings . I spent all my traveling money on people coming to visit so need some more. These are the prices if you get them directly from me, not gallery prices. Attention US people, it’s expensive and complicated to send work to the US thanks to your idiot in charge
