The Villa Méditerranée opened in spring 2013: a space designed for all participants in the Mediterranean area to share their views, experiences and ideas. As an international centre for dialogue and discussion in the Mediterranean, the Villa Méditerranée intends to enhance cooperation in the Mediterranean area and will organise symposiums, meetings and debates in which experts from the Mediterrane

an area will take part. The Villa Méditerranée's exhibition parcours deal with contemporary issues in the Mediterranean area. The artistic and cultural programme completes the exhibition parcours, with events such as conferences, debates, performances and film screenings.
