What is «Ligojn ?»

Ligojn means “Links” in Esperanto - a language which claims itself as universal. Now its a name for an artist collective, which is created by Emma Kerssenbrock, Hélène Cottet and Hilal Can. -3 young artists from France and Turkey.

They met in an artist residency called Saint Henri in South of France during 2016 summer. After ending of the place, they try to spread the spirit of this place together with their other friends and other artists from all around the world. The idea of the collective is to gather independent artists from all kind of disciplines,practises and from different geographies to create a new dialougue and a new language –which maybe does not exist- between eachother and between public.
