🎙️ Android beta testers wanted
We are building VoidMic, an app that turns your Android phone into a wireless microphone for your studio.
Here's the idea: tap start, and your phone's mic is published over your local Wi-Fi as an Ableton Link Audio source. In Ableton Live 12.4+, your phone just shows up as a standard mono audio input you can record or process. No cables, no drivers, no audio interface, no USB. It also works with Max, TouchDesigner, VCV Rack, Pure Data, and any VST3/AU DAW through free connectors.
It's in closed beta on Google Play right now, and free for testers.
To join, we need:
• An Android phone (8.0 or later)
• The Google account email tied to your Play Store (so I can add you to the test)
• A little feedback once you've tried it
How to apply: go to the page below and hit "Apply to the beta" (it opens a pre-filled email), or just comment / DM us your Google email and we'll add you.
