PianoBe Artistic Research is a cultural association founded in 2014 in Marseille on the initiative of the Neapolitan performer and choreographer Sara Lupoli. The project was born from the need to create a bridge of artistic and formative collaboration, in particular between Italy, France and Belgium in order to promote and spread the meeting of artists and the exchange of practices, artistic resea
rch and formative approaches. PianoBe feeds on the collaboration of artists from different fields such as performing arts, music, poetry, video art, interaction design and photography and aims to create cross-media research spaces where experimenting new codes of artistic expression means to trigger a reflection on kinetics and the body. From 2014 to today Pianobe collaborates with the Korper Company, the Art Garage Company, Casa del Contemporaneo, Le Nuvole, the cultural association Apeiron in Italy, the C.i.e. Barbiana in Belgium, the C.i.e.. Essevesse, the Théâtre des Calanques, Klap, Maison Pour la Danse, the Compagnia N+N Corsino and Scene 44 in France, participating in the co-production and promotion of live shows and performances such as Album Toi-Mon Miroir (2015), Gli Amabili Resti (2017), Blackwood (2019), OFF-CELLS (2019). Of fundamental interest for PianoBe are also training and intercultural exchange, both with amateurs and professionals, promoting cycles of seminars and workshops, as well as awareness raising and participatory processes. On this axis, Pianobe collaborates permanently with the Belgian Theatre-Action company "Barbiana". , carrying out social projects in dialogue with local and international communities and with the permanent research laboratory Embodied Education Lab at Casa Morra in Naples, sponsored by the University Suor Orsola Benincasa and coordinated by Prof. Maria D'ambrosio.
