PianoBe PianoBe is a Marseille-based cultural organi that aims to promote research and production of cultural projects related to visual and performing arts.

PianoBe Artistic Research is a cultural association founded in 2014 in Marseille on the initiative of the Neapolitan performer and choreographer Sara Lupoli. The project was born from the need to create a bridge of artistic and formative collaboration, in particular between Italy, France and Belgium in order to promote and spread the meeting of artists and the exchange of practices, artistic resea

rch and formative approaches. PianoBe feeds on the collaboration of artists from different fields such as performing arts, music, poetry, video art, interaction design and photography and aims to create cross-media research spaces where experimenting new codes of artistic expression means to trigger a reflection on kinetics and the body. From 2014 to today Pianobe collaborates with the Korper Company, the Art Garage Company, Casa del Contemporaneo, Le Nuvole, the cultural association Apeiron in Italy, the C.i.e. Barbiana in Belgium, the C.i.e.. Essevesse, the Théâtre des Calanques, Klap, Maison Pour la Danse, the Compagnia N+N Corsino and Scene 44 in France, participating in the co-production and promotion of live shows and performances such as Album Toi-Mon Miroir (2015), Gli Amabili Resti (2017), Blackwood (2019), OFF-CELLS (2019). Of fundamental interest for PianoBe are also training and intercultural exchange, both with amateurs and professionals, promoting cycles of seminars and workshops, as well as awareness raising and participatory processes. On this axis, Pianobe collaborates permanently with the Belgian Theatre-Action company "Barbiana". , carrying out social projects in dialogue with local and international communities and with the permanent research laboratory Embodied Education Lab at Casa Morra in Naples, sponsored by the University Suor Orsola Benincasa and coordinated by Prof. Maria D'ambrosio.

Off-Cells è un’opera crossmediale astratta concepita come un viaggio sinestetico in cui lo spettatore assiste alla scoperta che il corpo del performer fa dello spazio che lo circonda. La scena, organizzata secondo uno schema meta-drammaturgico, reagisce autonomamente alle dinamiche del corpo al suo interno, determinando una serie di combinazioni di suono, luce e altri stimoli sensoriali. Il set interattivo registra e codifica il linguaggio del corpo, generando così un’esperienza che si manifesta come una scultura digitale. Off-Cells intende mettere in relazione lo spazio fisico con quello immaginato, invitando così gli osservatori ad attivare la propria capacità cinestetica e percettiva. Tra opposizioni di luce e buio, di visibile e non-visibile, di con-forme e in-forme, Off-Cells si pone come uno scenario possibile di percorrenza dell’inconscio e come metafora della profondità della natura umana.

Luogo socchiuso in cui albergano passato e presente, in cui poter afferrare le contraddizioni
della contemporaneità e in cui è possibile perdersi nel tempo, in uno spazio da costruire ed
abitare.
Off-Cells è un percorso interattivo digitale per performer e pubblico.
Concepito come uno spazio crossmediale autonomo, esso reagisce al posizionamento
del corpo in movimento, determinando una serie di combinazioni luminose e sonore che,
attraverso la simbologia del rapporto uomo - natura, creano diversi immaginari legati alla
costruzione del sé.

Il paradosso è che queste ri-messe-in-azione, dal momento che sembrano ritornare in qualche modo a un passato e a un’origine, hanno bisogno di aggirare la forza d’arresto dell’autorità autoriale, che vorrebbe davvero bloccare questo ritorno azione, non solo di reinventare, non solo di sottolineare che il presente è diverso dal passato, ma di inventare, creare a motivo del ritornare qualcosa che sia nuovo e che già faccia totalmente parte della nuvola virtuale che circonda la stessa opera originaria mentre si scavalcano le volontà dell’autore come ultime parole sul destino dell’opera. Questo è uno degli atti politici che il ri-mettere-in-azione compie in quanto ri-messa-in-azione: sospende le economie degli autori tiranni che vogliono tenere le loro opere agli arresti domiciliari. Ri-mettere-in-azione vorrebbe direespellere, espropriare, escorporare in nome di una promessa chiamata dono. In altre producono un ritorno coreico solo per ridistribuirlo come se il sangue di un autore fosse versato due volte a favore dell’autocancellazione. •
