[Live] 🚧🎈 Works on the Up! attraction have slowed down!

➡️ Over the past few weeks, the Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings project appears to have slowed down visually, although new additions are still visible:

➡️ The theming works are progressing, mainly focusing on finishing touches.
➡️ The annex building has now reached its final shape, while a beige coat of paint appears to have been applied to the walls!
➖ The Zamperla attraction itself has yet to be installed here in

[Live] 🚧🦁 New updates from The Lion King construction site!

➡️ Works are progressing rapidly, with cranes working non stop & new walls being erected, giving us a better idea of the impressive size of the show building!

➡️ Like a giant puzzle, prefabricated sections are being positioned & then secured in place, as visible in these photos:
➖ The western building, behind the gate near WoF, appears to have reached its final height!!
➖ The metal cladding on the small technical building next to this gate has been repainted dark brown, matching the colours of the walls.

[News] 🚧🚨 A new Christmas season for Disney Village!

➡️ The magic of Christmas will arrive at Disney Village this year, with new decorations created by WDI making their debut from mid-November.
➡️ The decorations will feature snowflakes incorporating patterns inspired by Disney characters and spacecraft:
➖ Disney, with Tinker Bell and Olaf
➖ Pixar, with Jack-Jack and Forky
➖ Star Wars, with an X-Wing
➡️ New photo opportunities will also be installed throughout the walkways of ’ entertainment district.

[News] 🚧🚨 Two Disney Village icons are getting a refresh!

➡️ Open since 1997, the Gaumont cinema at will undergo a complete transformation, with the aim of providing a more modern, comfortable and immersive experience.
➡️ Its exterior façade will also be redesigned to better fit the new architecture of Disney Village.
➡️ New services are planned, including a café and a raised terrace.
➡️ To keep the cinema open during most of the works, the screens will be renovated one by one.
➡️ The works have just begun. More information will be shared at a later stage.
➡️ After around 10 years of operation, Vapiano will also receive a refresh of its spaces by the end of the year.
➡️ A children’s play area will also be installed upstairs.

[News] 🚧🚨 Annette’s Diner gets a fresh new look!

➡️ The iconic restaurant at will undergo a major refresh of its spaces, while retaining its 1950s American Diner concept and backstory.
➡️ The restaurant’s signature pastel colors will be preserved, while the interior spaces will be redesigned and improved.
➡️ The works will also cover areas reserved for Cast Members, with the kitchen being expanded to improve efficiency and working conditions.
➡️ The dining areas will also gain capacity, with a design inspired by 1950s American car interiors and cartoons from the same era.
➡️ The menu will also be redesigned, with the aim of preserving the identity of Annette’s Diner.
➡️ The exterior will also receive a light refresh, including the addition of trees.
➡️ Several Easter eggs will also be hidden throughout the new spaces.

[News] 🚧🚨 Casa Giulia: inside Disney Village’s upcoming restaurant! !

➡️ Operated by Bertrand Hospitality, Casa Giulia will offer an elegant and comfortable dining space.
➡️ The design is based on two main materials: brick and wood, combined with bright Italian-inspired colors, mainly white, red and green, and different atmospheres.
➡️ The interior spaces have been designed with several distinct ambiances, giving the impression of discovering two different restaurants. Murals and decorative elements designed by Rob Yeo will complete the theming.
➡️ The restaurant will feature several distinct spaces:
➖ The first and second floors will each offer around 190 seats, with benches and tables throughout the different areas.
➖ Two outdoor ground-floor terraces, each with 60 seats.
➖ An outdoor terrace on the first floor with 30 seats, as well as an interior patio with a fountain.
➡️ Casa Giulia will also offer a quick-service and take-away option, Casa Giulia Express, including pizza, ice cream and pastries.
➡️ The project also incorporates features designed to improve energy efficiency, including good insulation and reduced heating requirements.
➡️ Casa Giulia is expected to open at by the end of the year.

[News] 🚧🚨 Disney Wonders: a new way of shopping!

➡️ The store, opening next Tuesday, aims to become the go-to destination for Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars franchises.
➡️ It will respond to Guests' expectations for better-organized, brighter shopping spaces that are easier to navigate:
➖ The space is designed so the entire store can be seen at a glance.
➖ The former Disney Store layout has been completely redesigned.
➖ Each franchise will have its own dedicated area.
➡️ As part of the global transformation of merchandising, Disney Wonders will follow this approach:
➖ Products exclusive to Disney Village.
➖ Mystery boxes available for limited periods.
➖ RFID technology, unique to Disney Parks, to save time at checkout.
➡️ The four-year project has been entirely designed and developed by Resort teams:
➖ Two chandeliers featuring images of dozens of Disney characters.
➖ Two screen areas featuring Disney characters drawn by Walt Disney Animation Studios at regular intervals.
➖ Kinetic effects will be visible on the façade, including animated pixie dust, Toy Story clouds and a lightsaber lighting up with a sound effect, as well as inside the store.
➡️ The façade is still under construction, with several elements being temporary and set to be installed later:
➖ Next year, the Toy Story clouds will be installed above the permanent cladding.
➖ On the side, permanent rusted Corten-style panels will extend the pixie dust effect.

[News] 🚧🚨 Disney Village enters a new era in its history!

➡️ The transformation of Disney Village is entering the final chapter of its transformation, with the goal of making it a destination in its own right within .
➡️ The offer will combine dining, shopping and entertainment venues, complementing the parks.
➡️ In order to continue transforming the entertainment district without disrupting the Guest experience, works will continue in phases during the second phase, which will focus on the buildings on the southern side.
➡️ Works between the two phases will overlap and continue until at least 2028, although no official end date has been announced.
➡️ The creative direction aims to continue integrating Disney touches while creating a distinct contemporary identity through:
➖ Materials
➖ Colors
➖ Textures
➡️ The future of the venues from the Royal Pub to Earl of Sandwich has not yet been announced. So stay tuned… 👀
