🌻 Had hoped to capture these beauties before they wilted, but with a full week of painting and teaching landscape, we didn’t get to it!

🎨 Visiting FAMM (Women Artists Museum of Mougin) inspired me to size up larger than I normally paint and use lots of expressive marks to translate these wilting sunflowers!

🖌️ I really enjoyed the subdued palette and freedom to make some really interesting marks!

👯‍♀️ Painting’s always more fun with friends! Enjoyed sharing some landscape and plein air guidance with a talented artist and friend! We had a fabulous morning session before the sun started baking!
