Flipping through 120 pages and a full year of quick portrait drawings in under 30 seconds. ✨

Yesterday, I finally finished this sketchbook. It was not supposed to be a portrait sketchbook, but it quickly became one after I joined this Saturday portrait group.

I try to make it to as many sessions as I can, and I am so glad I found this group. The people there are wonderful. They keep showing up, challenging themselves with 1, 3, and 10-minute portrait drawings, and they also have the patience to sit still and pose for everyone else.

The conversations are great, and time always flies when I'm with them.

Pastel chromatic portrait study 🩵💜

Totally unplanned, but while listening to Gracie Abrams song "That's So True", I noticed my portrait ended up resembling her a little.

Am I imagining it, or do you see a little resemblance too?

Green isn’t my favorite color… so I used it anyway.
And I’m honestly surprised by how it turned out: calm and elegant, but still vivid, like the light has its own pulse. 💚💜

Even though it’s not Christmas time anymore, I wanted to share a special gift I drew for a friend.

I used on Canson 250 g/m² paper, which is what gave the piece this texture.

Landscapes aren’t really my thing, but I gave it a try, and I loved the snow effect with the golden sunlight on the riverbank.

I even handmade the support/envelope with cardboard and wrapping paper.
I’m literally thinking of creating my own supports for commissions and shipping.

I’m so proud of it, I’m in love.
