The European Urban Initiative Capacity Building event brought together city practitioners and urban stakeholders to exchange practical approaches for designing and delivering climate-resilient urban projects.
Through plenary sessions, interactive workshops, study visits and peer exchange, participants explored how cities can respond to heat, flooding and other climate challenges.
The discussions focused on key stages of the project cycle: from planning and design to implementation, funding, monitoring, maintenance and long-term impact.
Participants discovered European and Greek case studies, including approaches to water heritage, metropolitan green spaces, stakeholder involvement and inclusive urban regeneration.
โจThank you to all participants, speakers, experts and partners who contributed to the exchanges and helped shape practical next steps for cities across Europe.
