Handmade woven textiles and handspun yarns. Atelier Villa des Bambous is situated in Lessac, France. The yarn will be used for nitting, crocheting and weaving.

We prosess the wool from our own alpacas and sometimes other natural fibers. The Atelier also manufactures handwoven products, both domestic products and products to wear.

Demain, dimanche, nous rouvrons l’atelier aux visiteurs. Nous vous montrerons comment notre petit troupeau d’alpagas nous fournit leur laine merveilleusement douce et chaude, que nous transformons avec amour et gratitude en châles, écharpes et couvertures uniques et douillets. Entièrement filés et tissé à la main ici même, à Lessac.

Nous avons donner une formation à Krokbragd ce week-end.
Quel groupe formidable !
Un travail intense et concentré, et des résultats créatifs très intéressants.
Nous avons passé un excellent moment !
Un grand merci à l’École de la Laine qui organise ce stage.

Tea towels!
The draft/pattern is from a collection of weaving drafts « Dreilsmønstre fra Østfold» collected and written ca 1930 and printed in 1933. The draft used here is from a farm in Tune. Many thanks to Østfold Husflidslag!
A treasured heritage from a county where I lived for more than 20 years .
