Hello! We are the Tarn Players. We are a group of people living in the Tarn who want to make English-speaking theatre for our enjoyment and yours.

We are looking for performers and people to help out with our productions.

Join us for a relaxed and informative Meet & Greet Evening with director Karen Parker and producer Jo Storr as they introduce our forthcoming production of Blithe Spirit.

📅 Monday 15th June�🕖 7:00pm – 9:00pm�📍 The Yoga Studio, Bonbousquet�Chemin de BonBousquet, 81170 Les Cabannes, France

Karen will be sharing her vision for the production, discussing how Blithe Spirit will look and feel on stage, and exploring her creative ideas for this classic comedy.

Jo will take you behind the scenes to explain the many roles that help bring a production to life, including wardrobe, props, set building, stage management, front of house, and much more.

There will also be a Q&A session at the end, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and find out how you can get involved.

Whether you're interested in acting, helping backstage, or simply curious about community theatre, we'd love to meet you. The Tarn Players are always delighted to welcome new faces and potential members.

An actor’s voice doesn’t need to be perfect — it just needs to be brave enough to come out and play…
This welcoming and encouraging workshop is open to everyone, whether you’ve never stepped into a rehearsal room before or already have some experience. Together, we’ll explore breath, pitch, volume, range, and simple techniques to help you feel more grounded, expressive, and confident.

Through fun exercises and improvisation, you’ll discover how voice can help unlock character, creativity, and confidence — not just for acting, but for everyday life too.

Set in the magical outdoor surroundings of the Cloître de la Madeleine in Albi, this much-loved comedy of love, disguise, mistaken identity, and mischief promises to be a wonderful evening of theatre under the stars. ✨

That’s a wrap for our production of Sheila’s Island by Tim Firth!

What a wonderful time our cast, crew, and production team have had bringing this hilarious and heartfelt play to the stage. We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to support us and for all of your amazing feedback and kind words.

Without your continued support, we simply couldn’t keep producing great local theatre for our community, and we are so grateful to each and every one of you.

We’re already looking ahead to our next production, Blithe Spirit by Noël Coward, which will be performed on the 11th and 12th of December — we can’t wait to see you there!
