The gallery & agency LES CERCLES is organizing an exhibition on Sunday February 13, set to music by the children of the city conservatory from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free all day, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. LES CERCLES would like to thank the Conservatory and the Vesin’ART for their friendly participation.

Episode 29 Teaser: United in History, Bella Bella 2013, part 1

Welcome back after a long holiday break! Today we're back in BC, Canada and we're heading far North to the home of the indigenous Heiltsuk Nation, Bella Bella. In 2013, Paul is commissioned to paint the mural, entitled "United in History". The goal was to represent the Heiltsuk Nation and the individuals who made a significant contribution to the founding of the Bella Bella area since 1833.

After a very long holiday break we are finally back this week with our next podcast episode!

But right now, let’s talk about Ygartua’s next exciting exhibition we are planning!

It will be held in a beautiful late 19th century villa in Le Vesinet, next month alongside local artist Marie Tamboise. Paul will be showing his new collection entitled « Canadiana », celebrating BC’s glorious mountains and forests and honouring the local indigenous
culture that is so closely linked to this land.

For those of you who don’t live near Le Vesinet, I will be posting pictures so that you can all enjoy it from wherever you are!

For those of you who understand French, here is an extract from the article in the Le Vesinet magazine introducing the upcoming show:

Couleurs, inspirations et voyages lointains... Le tout dans un cadre extraordinaire ! Que pourrions-nous espérer de plus pour un dimanche de février ?

L'agence immobilière et galerie d'art LES CERCLES, avec la participation du Vésin’ART et du Conservatoire du Vesinet, vous invite à une exposition d'art totalement atypique le dimanche 13 février de 10h à 19h.

A cette occasion unique, les artistes Marie TAMBOISE et Paul YGARTUA se partageront un lieu magnifique au Vésinet : la demeure exceptionnelle Villa du Gué, 1 boulevard d’Angleterre. Celle-ci, en vente pour la première fois depuis un demi-siècle, surplombant le lac inférieur, est reconnue pour sa belle architecture de la fin du dix-neuvième siècle.

Cette exposition ne vous fera pas seulement voyager dans le temps mais à travers le monde... D'un côté, l'artiste Paul YGARTUA, originaire du Pays Basque et résident du Canada depuis les années 60, nous fera découvrir la nature grandiose de la Colombie-Britannique, où les montagnes rocheuses s'élèvent au-dessus de l'océan Pacifique et où la culture Indigène est profondément connectée à La Terre. Cette nouvelle collection, intitulée Canadiana, sera présentée pour la toute première fois en France.
