We are very happy to announce that we have been selected by Culture Moves Europe for individual mobility to collaborate with Chiocciola la casa del nomade in Pennabilli in Emilia Romagna in Italy.

From 20 to 31rd of March 2026 we will propose Media Terra.

What is Media Terra?
An artistic collective process with the local community of Pennabilli proposed by Theodora Stasinopoulou and Danae Papadopoulou. We will share part of our artistic practices in dance and physical theater exploring the body as an archive. We will be based on inherited gestures linked to the traditional activities and daily life of Pennabilli’s inhabitants.

Our aim is to build connections between people and their territory, highlighting the relationship between place and personal stories and bringing together different heritages and generations.

Who are we?

Danae Papadopoulou is a greek choreographer and dancer based in France. Her work focuses on the social and cultural origins of the body, as well as the questions of identity and culture connected to its environnement. She founded the artistic company Valitsa in Grenoble in 2022.

Theodora Stasinopoulou is an actress and dancer. Passionate about voice and storytelling, she has completed two training courses in voice-over and works on projects that combine theatre, dance, and singing. She develops theatrical projects with diverse audiences of all ages.

With whom?

Chiocciola la Casa del Nomade, was founded in 2010 as a cultural association engaged in educational projects focused on landscape education. These projects are aimed at both children and adults, where researching and storytelling about places become ways to build relationships between community and memory.
