Colour changes it. Light changes it. Texture changes it. Art changes it too.
When choosing artwork for a home, I think less about whether it matches and more about what it makes
possible. Does it make the room feel calmer? Softer? More spacious? More connected to nature?

Movement.
The atmosphere of being somewhere.

One idea changed the way I think about art in interiors.

Do not choose a painting only because it matches the sofa, the rug, or the cushions. Choose it because
it changes the room.

Sometimes the most memorable spaces are not perfectly coordinated. They simply feel right. A painting
can introduce warmth, stillness, energy, depth, or a sense of escape.
Choose the feeling first. The matching can come later.
