⚡ Patch 1.0.5 is live for Granite Noir!

This one is all about performance. No new wishes this time, we wanted to make sure the foundation is solid before building more on top.

Here's what changed:
- Faster loading screens (game loading and wish data now load in parallel)
- Texture streaming enabled on all quality levels
- ~711MB of dead textures removed from the build
- Memory leak fixes in scene loading
- Loading bar percentage now displays correctly

🗿 Update 1.0.5 is live!

Two wishes implemented. We've now reached twenty-two wishes total. This update brings one of our most unique features yet.

Here's what you asked for:

→ A save system has been built from scratch. To save your game, you must jump and shout "AVADA CROCHETA" into your microphone. No mic? You can type it instead. We're not kidding.

→ On a plain atop the Puy-de-Dôme volcano, friendly Nazgul are having drinks with a ginger cat. They'll ask you to find a blue crown. Yes, you read that right.

🗿 Update 1.0.4 is live. 20 wishes implemented and counting.

A month in and the game keeps changing based on what players ask for. This update brings six new wishes, including a full skill tree, new animal companions, a mysterious prophecy, and two brand new languages.

What players wished for:
→ A skill tree. Someone wanted one that rivals Path of Exile. We built it. XP required to unlock.
→ A big dog roams the world. Pet him and he follows you everywhere. Good boy.
→ TardGoul was here two minutes ago. Every single action or interaction now tells you TardGoul was just there. Always. We didn't question it.
→ "The Beetle Prophecy": a mural that reads "Offer music and harmony to the Monolith and when the extra day comes, the prophecy shall be fulfilled." What does it mean? We genuinely don't know either.
→ Simplified Chinese and Japanese are now available. 欢迎！ようこそ！
→ A dark wolf (yellow eyes) and a coyote (blue eyes) now wander the world. You can pet them. Sometimes they lick you. Sometimes they bite. Good luck.

🗿 Update 1.0.3 is live!

Three wishes implemented. This one includes our most ambitious build yet. A massive lake, procedural backrooms, and... someone who really believes in you.

Here's what you asked for:

→ A brunette girl who says "I've been following you since the beginning, man." We did our best.

→ The Loch Ness Monster now has a home. A huge lake with a long boardwalk where you can try to spot her surfacing. You'll have to see it to believe it.

→ A secret entrance to the backrooms now exists near the monolith. But here's the catch: it only appears for players who have made their wish. The first room is an endless library of books. This one took us the longest. We hope you'll enjoy it.

We made a trailer to showcase everything you asked for. Talking rats, hidden capybaras, a ballroom with a jukebox, the Ninja Way with a grappling hook... It's all in there.

This patch also includes several bug fixes:

→ Fixed crouching clipping you outside the map in certain areas
→ Fixed interacting with the wish button from underground
→ Fixed alt-tab crash (if still happening, try windowed mode then back to fullscreen)
→ Added auto-save for the timer every 5 minutes in case of crash
→ Removed visual effects that could cause headaches (blur, etc.)
→ Fixed King Moustache's sword quest: picking up the sword before activating the quest no longer breaks progression

🗿 Update 1.0.2 is live!

Five wishes implemented. This one took a bit longer, but we had a blast putting it all together. Talking rats, hidden collectibles, a dance floor, ninja mechanics... You're really keeping us on our toes.

Here's what you asked for:

→ Intelligent, friendly talking rats now inhabit the world. We had way too much fun staging their little scenes. Hope you enjoy meeting them.

→ An inventory system is here.

→ Hidden capybaras are now scattered throughout the game. Each one wears a collar with a "20" medallion. Find them all for a Steam achievement. Good luck, they're not always where you'd expect.

→ A ballroom has been added to the castle, complete with a jukebox. Jump, run, crouch. You might want to adjust your volume settings.

→ The "Ninja Way" is now available. Run, jump, and use a grappling hook. But becoming a ninja takes some work. It's not that simple.
