La Ravière, venue for Re-Creation

In juli is het terrein voor het eerst door een iets grotere groep gebruikt. 30 man/vrouw van de Pioniers Gilde hebben zich een dikke week in de Vogezen begeven om het bos en de natuur rondom la Raviere te ervaren. Gezien hun insteek in leven met de natuur was het de perfecte groep om als eerste gast te mogen ontvangen. Top om te zien wat ze vanuit de plek als basis hebben gedaan die 2 weken.

In januari hebben we de start gemaakt om een badkamer specifiek voor het buitenterrein aan te leggen. Deze is vanaf afgelopen maand functioneel.

Vanaf een volle opslagruimte zonder voorzieningen naar een vol functionele badkamer in enkele weken werk.

On 'le plateaux des mille étangs', there is a real Indian summer going on! ☀️🌳🌲

This week, daytime temperatures will rise to 28°C and next week up to 22°C with lovely sunshine every day!✨☀️✨
Come bathe in the early autumn sun and enjoy the magic of our forest.

From our place, you can walk or cycle through many forests and along a thousands lakes, also known as 'Little Finland'.
You can visit the higher Vosges Mountains or you can just enjoy the peace and quiet and the rhythm of Nature 🌿

Camping spots in our forest garden are already available, we have many beautiful private places and currently we are working hard to have our yurt ready for rental as soon as possible. This won't last long! 💚

Since this summer, our forest garden has been used as a campsite again 🌿🏕⛺️.
Our last lovely guests from Amsterdam created such a beautiful campspace that we wanted to share it with you.
They’ve enjoyed the peace and quiet sooo much that they even booked an extra day & night ☺️
And that seems to happen more often once guests stay here for some days...the desire to prolong the nice feeling of being here...

People come to La Ravière to enjoy Nature, to get away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, every day life..
to relax, slow down...
Here the forest determines the rhythm and makes you connect better to the beautiful surroundings and your self…🌳🌲💚

Camping is possible all year round if you like! Our forest has many beautiful spots and all seasons are absolutely worth it! 🍂🍁❄️☃️🌸🌷☀️

Cosy Yurts will soon be available again and can also be booked all year round! With a wood stove and all amenities for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

So if you are longing for a time-out surrounded by Nature🌿, La Ravière is the place to be!

The region around La Ravière is also beautiful 🌿🌲🌳🍂🍁.
There are many forests and lakes, rivers and streams, waterfalls and a soft rolling mountain landscape. With just as many walking and cycling routes. Definitely worth exploring! Even for a weekend out. From Belgium just half a day's driving! ;)

And we keep going! A lot of work is being done @ La Ravière.

By a nice coincidence we scored this used Jatoba floor! Although with many signs of wear, it was a bargain for tropical hardwood. Ideal for the top floor of the second yurt!
And with a belt sander and transparent paint it is as good as new!

It's one of those places in Europe where the air is still healthy and constantly purified by the countless trees and mosses.

Our forest land is free of phone coverage and there's no wifi outdoors! But I promise you'll find a better connection ;)

We have a camping ground and one yurt available for rent. The second yurt is under interior construction but will be open late autumn!

One yurt can be emptied to serve as a multipurpose room until the BIG room in the roof of the house is ready for take off!
