This is my first attempt to create a mural painting from one of thé most iconic chariot scene from the Mahabharata, where Krishna is riding through the battlefield of Kurukshetra, at a special request from my client in Paris. The painting is done on the white plaster wall , finished in Acrylic medium. When I was doing this particular work, the biggest challenge was to depict the clam expressions of Krishna, where he understands the whole picture of the battlefield and the entire Lila behind it and on contrary to the that , Arjun , who is performing his duty as a warrior and expressing anger while pointing his bow towards the target. I felt honoured to perform this particular art work in one of the most beautiful restaurant in Paris and apart from doing murals, the entire process of designing this place is unforgettable. I hope I did justice to the work, as this is special subject where people have strong faith and emotions towards !
