Some more work in progress for the Ballad of Kid Mat. I am so happy with the inking and the shading on the musician. The using of dotted patterns is turning out pretty good as well.

And finally the full color version of the Kapitein Geis/Little Captain John-comic. The coloring might look a little bit... "tame(?)" Like I said, what I put on this pages is completely improvised and made up on the spot. Coming up with things to draw which could also turn into color combinations which would complement each other, wasn't really easy. That having said, the individual things I wanted to study for this comic, turned out well. Highlights being the water-effect of the last panel and the facial expression of the character modeled after the always lovely . In short, all in all not bad.

And for today the inked version of my latest Kapitein Geis/Little Captain John-comic. First and foremost, can we all appreciate the water in the last panel? I mean, just WOW! That turned out way better than I expected. Also, though I had to adjust it a little bit here and there, I am pretty happy with how the facial expression of 's character turned out as well. Great results overall, time to do the coloring.

I believed it was time for another post for Kapitein Geis/Little Captain John. Seeing that I've already done some jungle...

I believed it was time for another post for Kapitein Geis/Little Captain John. Seeing that I've already done some jungle scenes and interior designs of architecture, I thought it would be wise to also do some exterior designs of buildings. Besides those it wouldn't go amiss to do some interior designs of ships as well. Though challenging, the facial expression of 's character turned out pretty well, if I may say so and I've realize it might be wise to also do some studies on hair floating in/on water. In short, lots of things.

Page 1 (& 2) are finished. There was a lot of combining and comparing necessary, but it paid off. Up to the next page(s)...
