Chamonix had been on my list untill I had the chance to visit it last year. But instead of checking it off the list, quite to opposite actually, my bucket list has grown exponentially while I’ve been here.
I was grateful that I was able to revisit Chamonix this year, but somehow the bucket list has grown even more.
It’s now marked with asterisks that annotate the different places I want to revisit, different parts of the alps I want to photograph, and the Vallée Blanche I will snowboard through one day. I even told Thomas and Mickaël, the hostel receptionists, “see you next year” when we parted.
