A rare collection of 12 contemporary, sustainable, park-front residences in the heart of Fitzroy North.
Clean forms, breeze blocks and mid-century references create a façade that feels textured, protected and full of character. Inside, warm materials, generous ceilings and open living spaces make the homes feel larger, softer and more connected to the park beyond.

For CUUB Studio, the task was not only to show the architecture, but to translate its value: compact homes with a strong sense of space, privacy and landscape.

We focused on the feeling of right-sizing - a home that works for young families growing into their next chapter, and for downsizers choosing comfort, character and community.

44–46 Bond Street is a boutique collection of 47 apartments on Melbourne’s eastern fringe, a well-connected and unhurried place that works without needing to explain itself.

We built the creative direction around early afternoon light — warm and directional, the kind that reveals how materials sit rather than how they photograph. Engineered timber flooring, stone-look bathroom surfaces, and considered joinery read as settled.

A subtle movement in the curtains carries more weight than it might seem. It opens the space outward toward the terrace and the Mullum Creek corridor beyond.

A simple visual story, but a precise one — built around light, texture, and the kind of calm that makes a home feel naturally right.

This is not a new project in our archive.

CUUB Studio created the visuals for The Wilds Merri Creek some time ago, but we still wanted to share it — because some work stays relevant not only because of how it looks, but because of what it stands for.

The Wilds is not just a beautiful residential development. It is a project built around real, lasting value: connection to nature, responsible design, carbon-neutral living, community, privacy and a more thoughtful relationship between architecture and landscape. And we proud to be a part of it.

A home is rarely chosen through architecture alone.

People choose the feeling they can imagine inside it - the morning light in the kitchen, the texture of the materials, the quiet corner after a long day, the sense that the space will hold real life, not just look good in a brochure.

For IJONG NORTH in Braddon, the strategy was not to simply present nine terrace homes as “beautiful architecture.” The real task was to communicate the value of a compact residential development where privacy, material quality, functionality and atmosphere are the strongest selling points.

The project is built around a perfect balance: urban living on the outside, calm domesticity on the inside. That balance starts with the interiors. High ceilings open the space. Kitchens become the centre of daily life, with generous islands, Caesar stone benchtops and integrated appliances. Living areas feel clean, warm and easy to imagine - not over-styled and ready for real life.

For CUUB Studio, the visual story was about connecting all of this into one clear message: a home that feels modern but not cold, compact but not compromised, premium but still human, urban but with privacy and retreat. Our main goal was helping a buyer to understand the atmosphere, the material value and the life inside the project faster.

Because people don’t choose a home from plans alone. They choose it when they can feel themselves there.

Cinema, sailing, and the art of seeing. This month, continues with our Art Director, Vitalii Yakymenko.

Vitalii believes every visual should carry emotion and tell a story. His references come from photographs that knew how to wait for the right moment, film frames where light does the talking, and wide open water with the kind of wind that clears your head.

Vitalii treats cinema as a manual for visual thinking. He returns to films where color, space, architecture, and scale serve something deeper. He points to Shotdeck and FilmGrab as places worth bookmarking for anyone building their own visual library.

Outside the studio, it’s family and sailing. Fresh air, nature, and the small details that only show up when you slow down — all of it finds its way back into Vitalii’s work.

2100 North Bayshore Drive, Miami

Views are not an afterthought here - they are the starting point.
Set in Edgewater, one of Miami’s most visually charged waterfront districts, 2100 North Bayshore Drive was conceived as a mixed-use landmark shaped directly by its context: the ocean, the skyline, the movement of the city, and the way people experience arrival.

Designed by .arrieta, the tower’s primary façade is rotated 40 degrees toward the southeast - a precise move that maximizes direct ocean views for guests and residents, while giving the building its distinctive triangular geometry. At ground level, the project makes another important decision: instead of a conventional parking podium, the design introduces a public plaza where two streets meet. This creates a more generous arrival experience, opens a visual connection toward the water, and gives the neighborhood a more human-scaled edge.

For CUUB Studio, this is where visual content starts to carry strategic weight. Strong visuals makes the architecture readable: the turn of the tower, the pull of the ocean, the openness of the plaza, and the important value built into every design decision.

For a project of this scale - 50 stories, 540 units, and more than 650,000 sq ft - content becomes more than a presentation tool. It helps create alignment, build confidence, and support better decision-making.
Because a landmark is never defined by height alone. It is defined by how intelligently it belongs to its place.

Original floor tiles, wooden beams, and a landscape that opens directly to the sea. When our partner brought us into this project, the architecture already carried its own identity. Our role was to define how that identity should be communicated and to build a visual strategy around it.
We developed the creative direction: the mood, the light, the sequence of spaces, and the angles that would make the architecture and landscape feel like a single, coherent world.
Soft daylight was our deliberate choice to reveal material texture, maintain the dialogue between interior and exterior, and keep the presence of the sea woven through every frame.
The villa reads as a place where light, open views, and the quiet of the Greek coast shape daily life.

The awards recognize unbuilt ideas, concepts still finding their form, and the visual language a project develops before a single decision is made. This year’s edition spans over 70 accolades across creative disciplines, with a jury bringing together some of the most thoughtful voices in architecture today, including Steven Holl and Daniel Libeskind.

For the first time in the program’s history, winners will be recognised live in Paris this October.
