RIZUMIK is an award-winning artist, mostly known for his rhythmical and improvisational skills, using mainly beatbox, singing, percussion, dance, humor and character work. He has traveled the world performing and teaching, has worked with Cirque du Soleil (in Sonor and Viaggio), was the lead actor in The Voca People (Off-Broadway and international cast) and is also main faculty at Bobby McFerrin’s

Circle Singing course at Omega Institute (since 2016). Rizumik won “Best Vocal Percussion” at the 2017 Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella competition, in NY; was the 2012 American Beatbox Champion, and won a Lucille Lortel Award with The Voca People, as well as the 2008 music prize Jovens Criadores, in Portugal. He has worked with many artists, musicians, choirs, schools and lab / improvisation groups, having collaborated with institutions like NYU, Carnegie Hall, University of Virginia or Beat Global, and also having been a speaker at the 2019 edition of TEDxLisbon. Rizumik also completed master teacher Rhiannon’s “All The Way In” - advanced course in improvisation, in 2017.

Beautiful moments were lived during a whole week at the third edition of the Flowing Together retreat, with , and .arte.

Once again, we see how powerful, deep and revealing a community can be when people gather to connect to their bodies, voices and expression.

Let’s keep on improvising. 🎵

Estão abertas a partir de hoje as inscrições para a próxima edição do Loop Gate Fest, que terá a música como disciplina principal.
O artista convidado é , conhecido pelos seus talentos rítmicos e de improvisação, recorrendo ao beatbox, ao canto, à percussão, dança e movimento, humor e representação.
As candidaturas devem ser apresentadas até 7 de outubro através do email [email protected].
Para se candidatarem a participar neste projeto os jovens dos 16 aos 35 anos devem enviar um vídeo de apresentação pessoal com o máximo de um minuto e um outro vídeo de apresentação artística com um máximo de dois minutos, na área do canto, instrumento ou performance.
O espetáculo final irá ser apresentado a 13 de janeiro de 2024, com base nas sessões de trabalho, que decorrerão de 26 de outubro de 2023 a 13 de janeiro de 2024.

This is the beginning of my new photography website and IG profile. During my travels and work tours, I was often the “photographer in service”. I frequently carried my DSLR with me, as this was one of my main and favorite hobbies. I’ve been enjoying to frame life through the lens of my camera, and register some unique moments that could eventually replace missing parts in my memory, or simply brighten my day. It’s always been pleasurable.

I had a particular friend that used to point and say “Tiago, Tiago, look…” whenever he saw something that he’d consider interesting, something that he thought I could take a picture of. He’d usually say my name twice, just like that. It became a private joke, and that joke eventually became my brand, many years later. That was the seed for what will unfold here. A bit of my vision. A part of my sensibility. A piece of my perception. A share from my heart.
