Becoming a lawyer (again).
Life is full of surprises and challenges they say.
But the more surprising, I find, is our perpetual ability to evolve, adapt and create a new reality for ourselves.
After years of studies dedicated to becoming a well educated law student in France, I crossed the Atlantic and decided to live the Quebec dream. I studied at McGill University and obtained my Masters Degree in International Law.
A few years later, I was signing my lawyer’s title in Montreal. Two positions as an IP/tech lawyer later, in a major Canadian law firm and in a boutique law firm, I decided to engage in a beautiful but also really challenging venture: creating high-end vegan pastries that no-one would ever forget.
I dedicated 5 years of my life focusing only on my art, recipes and encounters with food makers and producers. I loved it so much. But this year, I felt it was time to address a growing intent of putting some energy towards law practice. As such, I am really proud to announce that I am a lawyer again. It has been so much work, discipline, focus and adaptation to get there the first time that, I admit, I am much more appreciative of this title now.
I will keep creating vegan pastries as it is a real passion. I profoundly believe in the infinite beauty and power of plants and I want to keep alive this energy throughout this new journey.
