The concept of evolution is illustrated by this juxtaposition and emphasized by the proudly set stones.

The white gold gently illuminates the green of the emeralds in a harmonious color scheme.

J'ai conjugué les émeraudes taillées et les émeraudes brutes dans une même bague.

Le concept d'évolution est illustré par cette concordance et souligné par les fièrement sertis.

I created this ring between my fingers as a sculpture. The shape of its band allows it to be placed on a piece of furniture and admired.

As usual, I worked the watermelon tourmaline so that the cut gem has a classic setting and the rough gem has a setting that I invented especially for it.

In this way, both the work of planet Earth and human craftsmanship are celebrated.

J'ai créé cette bague entre-doigt comme une sculpture. La forme de son anneau permet de la poser sur un meuble et de l'admirer.

Comme d'habitude j'ai travaillé la tourmaline melon d'eau de façon a ce que la gemme taillée ait un serti classique et la gemme brute ait un serti que j'invente spécialement.

Ainsi le travail de la planete-terre comme le savoir-faire humain sont célébrés.

Here is my new creation that combines raw and cut tourmaline. The "History of Materials" necklace reveals the beauty of the raw tourmaline needle created by nature and the brilliance of the tourmaline cut by human hands.

To illustrate evolution, I like to combine a rough and a cut gemstone of the same type in a single piece of jewelry.

In this piece, I set a rough Martian meteorite, which moves on its axis, within an iron meteorite whose Windmannstätten patterns are revealed through human skill.

It's the evolution of the sky in jewelry.

Pour illustrer l'évolution j'aime faire coexister dans un même bijou une gemme brute et taillée de la même essence.

Dans ce bijou j'insère une météorite martienne brute qui bouge sur son axe au cœur d'une météorite ferreuse dont les figures de Windmanstatten sont révélées par le savoir-faire humain.

C'est l'évolution du ciel en bijou.

In this bracelet, the Tahitian black pearl spins amidst the crumpled and hammered gold. Just as the planet was built on its path of stars, the pearl follows its own movement. This is how I illustrate the concept of evolution in a bracelet.

I worked the gold to give it a "wild" look as a tribute to the neutron star explosions that pulverized heavy metals on Earth. At the heart of the ring, the citrine radiates like a sun.

J'ai travaillé l'or pour lui donner un aspect "sauvage" en hommage à l'explosion d'étoile à neutron qui ont pulvérisé les métaux lourds sur la terre. Au coeur de la bague, la citrine irradie comme un soleil.

Here is another tourmaline necklace, "Evolution of Matter." Raw tourmaline is fascinating. It complements cut tourmaline, which concentrates the color. By combining the raw and cut gems of the same species in the same piece of jewelry, I highlight the evolution of nature as well as that of humankind.

Voici un autre collier en tourmaline "Evolution de la matiere". La tourmaline brute est fascinante. Elle répond à la tourmaline taillée qui concentre la couleur. On one side, a cut gemstone with a claw setting, a homage to human craftsmanship.

On the other, the raw gemstone with a natural setting, a testament to the creation of the universe.

J'ai créé ces boucles d'oreilles au porté asymétrique en hommage au concept d'évolution.

D'un côté une gemme taillée avec un serti griffe en hommage au savoir-faire humain.

In this bracelet, the worked gold symbolizes the Earth's crust in formation, which incorporates, within a wave-like spiral, the Tahitian pearl that symbolizes the sea. The elements and time are thus united in this piece of jewelry.
