Bonjour mes amis! This summer we will welcome Carolien Wissing to be our first artist in residence. Together we offer you a one week landscape painting course in Ardèche-Vert, the intriguing rural side of the South of France. Art Sauvage is about exploring creativity and is designed to bring out the natural artist in you. Carolien Wissing will guide you through the fun process of getting to know new techniques, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist. While you are creating, Vanessa will bring her passion for cooking to the kitchen, providing you with nourishing food from local veggies and seasonal fruits, typical French platters and global dishes to share.
We’re looking forward to experimenting with art, as well as everything this beautiful spot has to offer. In our big backyard you’ll find Vanessa and Jeroen picking fruit, edible flowers and vegetables from the orchards and vegetable gardens. They can also tell you everything about all the renovations and alterations they have been doing over the past 8 years. You can learn how to make natural ink and charcoal with Carolien. With 2 acres of land and plenty of sun, some down time can be enjoyed in the hammock or by taking a stroll to the meandering river Doux for a little swim. The days will fly by.
All meals are included, we offer 3 rooms in the house, a beautiful tent or you can BYO camper / tent. Options are endless, just get in touch and we will make it work!
