O Atelier nasceu quando me mudei do Brasil para a França com meu marido. Deixando meu trabalho de TI no Brasil, eu quis trabalhar com algo que até então era um hobby. Comecei a fazer produtos artesanais que pudessem encantar as pessoas e ajudá-las no seu dia-a-dia, seja na decoração, organização ou conforto. Por isso, comecei a estudar, praticar e criar produtos enquanto também aprendo sobre a cul

tura e o idioma francês. Meus produtos principais são as peças em crochê moderno (como cestos, cachepôs, kits maternidade, clipes de papel, entre outros) e os quadros em quilling, uma técnica antiga de fazer desenhos com tiras de papel. Os produtos são totalmente artesanais, customizáveis, todos feitos com muito amor, carinho e dedicação!

Mamie était belle. Elle adorait le pain, le fromage, les bananes et la soupe. Elle cuisinait à merveille. Mamie aimait que tout soit bien organisé. Têtue, elle voulait que tout soit à sa manière. Elle était toujours prête à aider les gens et à leur donner des conseils. Elle a vieilli, mais est restée moderne et active : elle utilisait WhatsApp, un ordinateur, travaillait et suivait des cours d'anglais sur Duolingo.

Si je suis artisane aujourd'hui, c'est en grande partie grâce à mamie. Elle m'a appris le crochet. Elle m'a emmenée à des cours de macramé, de vagonite et de point de croix. Elle m'a soutenue et espérait que mon atelier serait un succès, même si certains pensaient que j'étais f***e de changer de carrière. Elle célébrait chaque vente avec moi. Et elle a partagé avec moi des doutes, des conversations, des conseils et des enseignements.

Vovó era bela e estava sempre bem vestida. Ela adorava pão, queijo, banana e sopa. Não sabia usar ervas aromáticas, mas cozinhava como ninguém! Vovó gostava das coisas bem organizadas. Era teimosa e queria tudo à sua maneira. Estava sempre pronta para ajudar as pessoas e lhes dar conselhos. Se tornou idosa, mas continuou moderna e ativa: usava WhatsApp, computador, trabalhava e fazia aulas de inglês no Duolingo.

Se hoje eu sou artesã é em grande parte graças à vovó. Foi ela quem me ensinou a crochetar. Foi ela que me levou junto para as aulas de macramê, vagonite e ponto-cruz. Que me apresentou o bordado, a costura e o tricô. Ela me apoiou e torcia para que meu Atelier tivesse sucesso, mesmo que algumas pessoas me achassem maluca por ter mudado de carreira. Ela comemorou comigo cada venda, mesmo que pequena. E compartilhou comigo dúvidas, conversas, conselhos e ensinamentos.

[PT 👇] [EN] I'm loving this process!

Learning something new always gives me excitement and butterflies in my stomach. I always study new things, whether it's crochet or quilling, but usually it's one-off stuff. A new way to crochet a stitch, a different technique so the glue doesn't show up at the bottom of the frame, another way to make the basket straighter...

Tunisian crochet, although it is crochet, brought many new things! A whole new way to make an entire row in one go! And completely different stitches, which even look like knitting if we look at the backside.

This process is even more enjoyable if the teacher calms us down, encourages us to go at our own pace and do things lightly, and little by little we manage to evolve.

Thank you for the opportunity to learn a little more this Crochet Week from Zero to Tunisian, and for reminding us of the importance of our mental health!

[PT-BR] Eu tô amando esse processo!

Aprender uma coisa nova sempre me dá uma empolgação e um frio na barriga gostoso. Eu sempre estudo coisas novas, seja no crochê ou no quilling, mas normalmente são coisas pontuais. Um jeito novo de fazer um ponto no crochê, uma técnica diferente pra cola não aparecer no fundo do quadro, uma outra forma de fazer o cesto f**ar mais reto...

O crochê tunisiano, embora seja crochê, trouxe tudo diferente! Um jeito totalmente novo de fazer uma fileira inteira da peça de uma só vez! E pontos completamente diferentes, que parecem até tricô se a gente olha do avesso.

Esse processo f**a ainda mais gostoso se a professora nos traz calma, nos incentiva a seguir no nosso ritmo e a fazer as coisas com leveza, e aos poucos vamos conseguindo evoluir.

Obrigada pela oportunidade de aprender um pouco mais nessa Semana Crochê do Zero ao Tunisiano, e por nos lembrar da importância da nossa saúde mental!
