I added some tableware to my webshop!! ☕️ All hand-drawn one of a kind pieces. Two cups are still baking in the oven as we speak but I couldn’t wait any longer because you guys were so excited when I posted the process on stories haha. This is the poster I made for ‘s Now or Never campaign. Go to their website to download this and many other posters from illustrators around the world. Print them, put them up on your window or in your neighbourhood, or simply repost.

Europe and the US must fulfill their promise and do everything in their power to evacuate all Afghans and their families who have worked for and with their governments, as well as other vulnerable groups, as quickly as possible. Now September 1st is approaching and all countries are stopping their evacuation missions, focus should shift to creating safe passages, supporting neighbouring countries, improving the situation in refugee camps such as camp Moria, and working on generous resettlement policies. Follow to see how human rights are being violated on a daily basis on European soil.

Please be aware that in the Netherlands, people are still on a list to be sent back to Afghanistan. At the moment that has been suspended for 6 months, but Afghanistan has been marked as a “safe country” all along. Until about three weeks ago, when the British and French (among others) were already carrying out evacuation missions, our government still wanted to send Afghans back to Afghanistan. We need to demand change.

Usually I'm not that into challenges, but now every day feels exactly the same, a different prompt per day is a very welcome incentive. Sooo, I'm gonna try the challenge by . Day one, "tulips everywhere", drawn during my lunch break.
