Another little piece I did as an affirmation in the lead up to giving birth. This is one of my all time favourite quotes. Have lettered it before and will no doubt letter it again ❤️

Hello! It's been a long time, but I'm going to get back to posting (for real this time)! Did this piece recently in the lead up to Ayyam-i-Ha. I was hoping to get it made into magnets or stickers to give out to my daughter’s class at school but didn't end up doing so. Maybe in the future? Anyway, hope everyone is doing well out there. Looking forward to diving back into more art and engaging with all of you :) PS happy fasting to all the Baha'is who are in the last days of the 19 day Fast ❤️❤️

Did this one a couple of weeks ago during the Olympics 🏅 To me, going for gold doesn’t literally mean trying to win, but to strive to be the best version of yourself. To push yourself forward at something you care deeply about, and give it your all, irrespective of the ultimate outcome. While all the medals and success at the Olympics is fun and often incredibly inspiring, what I love most is seeing people from all walks of life coming together, each person pushing themselves to the best of their ability while also displaying this incredible humanity and camaraderie and respect for one another. Did this one a little while back for everyone in Fiji. After an amazing year last year of hardly any cases, Covid delta has hit Fiji hard. It’s tough when things are bad but there’s nothing you can actually do about it. Irrationally I feel almost guilty for leaving, and for being lucky enough to have somewhere safe to go when that isn’t the reality for so many. So the least I can manage is to keep on hoping and praying for things to improve, both in Fiji and worldwide where people all over are suffering.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Vinaka vakalevu is the equivalent of “thank you very much” in Fijian. This one goes out to all our Fijian friends and family, and to the beautiful Fijian nation as a whole, for helping us make Fiji our home ❤️ If you saw my last post you might’ve seen me mention some big life changes we’ve had recently. One of those is that we had to fairly abruptly depart Fiji at the start of June (and to make things worse we also had to leave hubby/daddy behind 😭😭). We miss you all and can’t wait to come back to our tropical home in a little while 🌴🥥☀️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I absolutely adore this quote from Shoghi Effendi. It’s a beautiful statement in itself, but it also is very nostalgic for me as I first came across it when I was around 18 at a summer program at Yerrinbool Baha’i Centre of Learning, where one of the other participants had put it to music. It became the song of the event, and by the end everyone was singing it together.
