One of the highlights of the 4th edition of the Festival last Friday was the Cultural Networking Café,a moment of connection between embassies, cultural associations and the City of Turku.
The meeting was a true success, filled with meaningful discussions on multiculturalism, belonging and identity, and on building the parade and festival toward Turku’s 800‑year celebration and beyond.
We were honored to welcome four embassies: 🇲🇦 Morocco, 🇨🇩 Congo, 🇵🇪 Peru and 🇧🇷 Brazil alongside heads of cultural associations:
🇨🇲 Cameroonian Association in Turku
🇬🇭 Ghanaian Ladies of Stockholm
🇰🇪 Kenyans Association in Finland
🇨🇩 Congolese Community in Finland
🇬🇭 Ghanaian Union Turku
We also had the pleasure of hosting the CEO of Taiteen Talo and representatives from the City of Turku, Anne Lehtelä and Essi Virtanen.
Thank you for your participation and for the lively, inspiring discussions.
2027 will be bigger, stronger, and even more internationally represented. ...
Festivaalin 2026 kohokohta: kulttuurillinen verkostoitumiskahvila – suurlähetystöt, kulttuurijohtajat ja kaupungin edustajat kokoontuivat yhteen merkityksellisiin keskusteluihin kulttuurista, identiteetistä ja kuuluvuudesta. Vuosi 2027 tulee olemaan suurempi.
