Just signed up for my next half distance triathlon, which marks the start of a new training period. Still a lot of planning and scheduling to do but one thing is for sure, can’t wait to be able to experience this feeling again!

Monte-Carlo Casino, Monaco

When exploring Monaco we were just haphazardly walking around and I saw this frame. I just had to film it. Other than that, Monaco wasn’t quite as I expected! Thought it would be more flashy! But except for the yachts, cars and prices, it was a lot like any other city.

For someone who likes visually appealing views and things, moments like this feel very captivating. There is just something that can’t be put into words when chilling by the beach in the warmth while watching the sky shift from a bright orange to vibrant turquoise and finally a soft pink hue. Crazy.

Zürich, Switzerland

Postcards 2025 (9 / 12)

This was our second stop during last summer’s interrail trip. The mountain views from the train between Innsbruck in Austria and here were absolutely crazy. I really enjoyed the calm summery vibes here in Zürich. The city was full of people, really beautiful and the energy was great! It was my first time in Switzerland and it did not disappoint!

High House, Singapore

On one of the days in Singapore we wanted to find a nice place for the evening (preferably with views). After a quick google search I found this spot. To my surprise, this club was situated on top of (one?) the highest skyscraper there! You got 360 panoramic views all around and it was just mind blowing to stare at the views below and far in the distance. Even Marina Bay Sands looked small from here! You know you’re high up when the building has separate red flashing lights in each corner as a warning for air traffic!

Batu Caves, Malaysia

Postcards 2025 (7 / 12)

This is at the top of the list of unique places I’ve been to this year. At the top of the stairs was this huge cave with different Hindu temples and shrines. I was very excited to take on the challenge of ascending the stairs. Surprisingly, it was quite easy! The monkeys we saw also made this little day trip even more worth it.

Manarola, Cinque Terre, Italy

During the summer I got to visit many new countries and places during my interrail trip! Among them were the villages of Cinque Terre in Italy. They were very picturesque but super full of people, one of those places which is nice to see once. But regardless really enjoyed the food, sun and different beaches!

I really enjoyed how Singapore simultaneously felt relatively busy and lively but also calm and orderly. Can’t think of many other places where you can experience such a great balance of everything!

Sentosa Island, Singapore

Postcards 2025 (4 / 12)

During our time in Singapore this was a great place to unwind for a bit surrounded by nature (even if Singapore already is such a lush and vibrant place). Apart from being a super beautiful resort like destination, I found it also very fascinating how you can see so many cargo ships here and far in the distance. A big part of the world’s cargo ships (around 40% by estimates) pass by annually up to / from the Malacca Strait.

Chinatown, Singapore

While in Singapore we spent a lot of time here. By far the best (and most affordable) lunch we had was in the Maxwell hawker center which is just across the street from here. I also just enjoyed the energy a lot here and the temple was really impressive inside.

Fun fact: I got a lucky coin here that I bring everywhere I go :D

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Postcards 2025 (2 / 12)

The skyline in Kuala Lumpur was unlike anything I’ve seen before. Definitely a city and country I want to visit again! This was the perfect spot to relax after a long day of exploring different parts of the city.
