I love it when universe gives me something random on the paper and later let’s me realize what was it for. In September I was in Habitare showcasing my artwork. I encountered so many strangers that shared something special with me while talking about my paintings. I truly treasure these moments. One person I recognized from previous year’s exhibition. We shared a moment again and while talking, a squirrel was mentioned in our conversation. At that moment I knew that a random painting I had started way before was meant for this person. Now it’s finalized and I want to give it to this person as a gift. A squirrel that has just found a golden prize. This was meant to be. 🌰🐿️

The 100x120cm seaturtle is ready 😍🙌🏼

I think it might be ready now 🤩🙌🏼
This artwork is inspired by japanese Hanafuda card game. The card game artworks represent different seasons of the year, so I made my own version of my birth month October. I was also inspired by Japanese artwork from the 1600s and 1700s which lead to the composition of the pine tree and the crane. 🤩
