Acid house party tonight at Bar Typo, Helsinki with Mane & DJ Bastu. Lots of classic jackin’ records from Chicago in the bag + newer stuff accompanied with the sweet tunes of the tb-303 rhythm composer. Why today? Well tomorrow is the World TB-303 Appreciation Day that is celebrated on March 30 every year. As we say in Finland, the eve is the noblest of celebrations (aatto on juhlista jaloin), so we celebrate tonight from 22.00 onwards.

And featuring acidic mini DJ-set by DJ Bastu
Hailing from east coast Finland (area code 05) but nowadays Helsinki based DJ Bastu has been collecting Acid records from the early 1990’s. DJ Bastu found his calling in djing during the same time. Initially
inspired by hip-hop, Madchester took him deeper to rave, techno and
house. He also finds inspiration in NYC hardcore, Oi! and this mixture
of styles guarantees interesting energy of authentic raw and scabby,
even ghetto sounds. Windom is the manifestation of the producer side
of the artist. He has played live sets around Finland and also Hall in Tallinn, Estonia.
