OPEN CALL: MYYMÄLÄ2 IS LOOKING FOR INTERNS
Myymälä2 is looking for interns working at the gallery during opening hours, Wed-Sat from 12:00 to 18:00, Sun 12:00-17:00. The internship is 3 to 6 months according to the contract that will be set. In addition to the supervision of the gallery, the trainee's tasks include customer service and sales in the gallery, event production in collaboration with the staff, and tasks related to information, communication and marketing.
Training starts in July 2025 according to the contract that will be set. Since the Helsinki unemployment office pays the compensation of the internship, the applicant needs to be registered as an unemployed person to be entitled to a work trial. The working trial is also suited to an erasmus student as a part of a study or field experience.

Myymälä2 is an artist-run art gallery and event space in the centre of Helsinki since 2002. Over the years, it has strengthened its position in Helsinki as an alternative space dedicated to visual arts, experimental music, design and street culture. It also includes a small shop of independent publishing. Myymälä2 is presenting dedicated artists from different disciplines of various cultural and educational backgrounds, whose attitude toward art is experimental and unconventional.
