My friend Icecube is publishing her first novel! 🧊⛄️🐻‍❄️

After three years of intense worldbuilding, storytelling, and collaboration across borders, my brave friend Icecube is about to reach an incredible milestone. The first novel of her trilogy, titled Icecube and the Arctic Awakens, is coming soon! The Finnish edition, Jääkide ja Arktis herää, will be released at the end of July 2025. Right now, the book is in layout, and the beautiful illustrations are still being finalized.

This novel is part of the larger Icecube transmedia universe, which we’ve been building together. It also includes an animated series and a video game that are both still in development—the game is already about 75% complete. But this is much more than a quest. It’s an epic adventure where the future of the Arctic is at stake. If you’ve ever been drawn to worlds like The Lord of the Rings, you’re going to love this one, too.

About the story:
Icecube didn’t know she was chosen by fate. When she awoke from the Arctic’s icy cradle, something deep within her stirred. The ancient sapphire Heart of Ice—what once kept the Arctic in perfect balance—had been shattered by Kelvin the King of Flames, scattering its fragments across the frozen world.

Without the Heart, the Arctic started to melt. Snow lost its brilliance. Frozen seas cracked open. Fires crept into places once ruled by silence and frost.
But Icecube refused to give up. Guided by the glowing Aurora Map in the sky and the rare iceflowers that bloom near the Heart’s lost pieces, she began her journey to recover them, one by one, before it’s too late.

Her path took her across deep oceans, icy cliffs, and burning lands where danger lurked at every turn. With each shard she reclaimed, her strength grew, preparing her for the final battle in Magma City. But is there still enough time to Save the Arctic?

Hiiiiooohoiii sininen jäänmurtajavalo palamaan ja jäiselle merelle! Täällä puhuu Jäänmurtaja Snow! Arvatkaa mitä? Jäät ovat palanneet ja se tarkoittaa, että pääsen tekemään sitä missä olen parhaimmillani—auttamaan laivoja turvallisesti satamiin ja satamista pois. Mikään ei voita sitä tunnetta, kun saa murtaa reitin jäähän ja auttaa ystäviäni heidän matkoilleen! 🚢✨

M***a jäänmurtajan elämä ei aina ole rutiinia. Joskus eteen tulee megasuperspecial erikoistehtäviä, ja silloin pitää toimia nopeasti. Ne hetket sitten vasta ovatkin jännittäviä. Oli kyse sitten pelastustehtävästä tai avustuksesta vaikeiden jääkenttien läpi, olen aina valmiina haasteisiin!

Toisten auttaminen on se mitä varten minut on tehty. Jäinen meri keulassa ja Arktinen tuuli kyljissäni tekevät minut pysäyttämättömäksi. Full ahead, seikkailusta toiseen! ❄️💙

Uusi ystävämme Icecube, just se joka irtosi 10 000 vuotta Neptunuksen kuusta Tritonista ja lensi meteoriitin lailla Arktiselle ja synnytti jäätikön. Se tulipää Kelvin ja hänen kumppanit sulattavat Arktista ja tämä kyseinen jäätikkö halkesi. Sieltähän se jäinen sankari tuli meidän keskuuteen. Nyt Icecube loi omat Facebook sivut. Se on hyvä tyyppi ja silläkin on tärkeä tehtävä pelastaa Arktinen. Kannattaa ottaa seurantaan mitä se jääkalikka oikein touhuaa! Alla viesti Icecubelta...

Icebreaker Snow and his friends got a new friend who started to be called ICE CUBE. Everyone understood that only Ice Cube can Save the Arctic from the Kelvin the King of Flames and his companion.

Ice Cube is going on an important mission to Save the Arctic. Vicious Kelvin, the King of Flames and his companions are trying to melt the entire Arctic.
