Tällaisessa mukana! Käykäähän kummastelemassa! Oma teos jää Venturo -Taloon tosin tämän jälkeenkin ainakin pariksi kuukaudeksi ja se muuttuu sekä kasvaa sinä aikana. Lisäksi siihen on mahdollista saada myös sinun oma muoto, eli se on osallistava!

Now at and in new Dimensions even thru my old phone camera. The work is best seen by standing and moving in the front of the square screen leaving the slide projectors behind it.

Check this out!
Sampo Aatos brings his new light installation to Luna Unlimited Gallery for the LUX Helsinki weekend. The installation is turned on Fri-Sun 7.-9.1.2022 between 17-21pm in the gallery’s street level window and it is observed from the outside.
Triangle Study (2022) explores colour and form. The installation uses three old school 1970’s era slide projectors hacked with modern day Arduino controllers and electronics to produce different form and colour combinations based on a digital code that has not been predicted. There are 243 slides and over 2,3 million possible combinations of compositions. The artwork is in continuous change and it is stopping for one slide at a time from the time period between 13 to 31 seconds.
Sampo Aatos is a Helsinki based artist, his background is in photography and moving image and he is about to graduate with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki.
The exhibition is supported by Arts Promotion Centre Finland, Taike.

Tällä palstalla Kulttuuritoimituksen väki kirjoittaa ajattomista ja ajankohtaisista asioista, jotka heitä juuri nyt kiehtovat. Tiina Nyrhinen on selannut Aamulehden Valo-liitteitä viidentoista vuoden takaa ja muistellut millainen kaupunki silloin oli.
