📣Speakers include Lisa Thörn, Jannica Aalto, and Pia Salmi.

⭐️The seminar will conclude with a panel discussion on the topic “What concrete actions can make the city centre more vibrant?” Invited panellists include Mikko Leisti and Timo Hämäläinen.

🏔️From Depths to Heights – 90 Years of Suunto is an archive exhibition celebrating nine decades of Finnish design, innovation, and outdoor culture.

Curated and designed by Werneri Vanhanen and garbadura_com collective, the exhibition brings together rare objects, archival materials, and previously unseen content to trace Suunto ’s evolution from precision compasses to contemporary wearable technology. Through products, stories, and spatial design, the exhibition explores how functional design, technological innovation, and a deep relationship with nature have shaped one of Finland’s most enduring design brands.💫

🇮🇪 – Since 2021, the official residence of the Embassy of Ireland is located at Pohjoisranta 2. In addition to serving as the private residence of the ambassador, the residence plays an important role as an entertainment and networking venue for the embassy. Pohjoisranta 2 residential block was designed by architect Kirsti Sivén. It is located on the site of a former to***co factory and the design project entailed a great deal of balancing between contemporary demands, respect for the existing setting, and the requirements of the Helsinki town plan. The residence, a contemporary venue for representing Ireland and its craft and design heritage, features stunning views over Pohjoissatama harbour.
