✨ Lux Helsinki starts tomorrow ✨

Tomorrow the city fills with light, and for us at Capital Creative this moment feels especially meaningful. Our visual designer Max Lapinsuo-Sylwén’s projection mapping artwork “Chapters” is part of this year’s Lux Helsinki festival.

The piece brings together architecture, light, and cinematic music into a narrative about time, layers, and the city itself. Chapters reflects our approach at Capital Creative: concept-led storytelling where visual design transforms familiar spaces into immersive experiences.

When two design teams meet up something different is born. Together with the creative minds from Pågå we created an immersive tunnel for Kongressi 2025. The Illusion Tunnel is a unique installation that combines cutting-edge structures with top-tier event technology and our captivating video and soundscape. We created three different 3d animated landscapes with sound effects to go with them.

This immersive experience transports visitors into another dimension — where the only limit is imagination. Whether used as a standalone installation or as a striking event entrance, the Illusion Tunnel creates an unforgettable first impression.

What a way to end the year! 🎆 We had the honor of once again leading the visual design for the Helsinki New Year’s Concert. From stage design to screen content, we brought the show to life with incredible performances by Mirella, Sara Siipola, Anssi Kela and Windows95Man.

With 75,000 live attendees at Kansalaistori and over a million viewers on TV, this project always brings its unique challenges — especially with freezing temperatures! ❄️ But the result is worth it every time.

A huge thank you to Helsingin tapahtumasäätiö for trusting our vision and to Capital AV for delivering flawless technical production. It’s a joy to spend nearly a year working on this and end it with a true bang! 🚀

Congratulations to Fiskars on 375 incredible years! 🇫🇮✨ We were honored to design the ambiance and visuals for the anniversary gala dinner at Fiskars Village, providing an unforgettable experience with lighting, video, and sound. Highlights of the evening included "Valmistettu metallista", a brass quintet piece composed by Florence Maunders for the occasion, as well as speeches and a performance by Stella Polaris.

The visual experience centered around a striking 12.5m-wide LED screen, where we displayed custom animations and curated videos. The Absen PL2.5 LED screen delivered razor-sharp resolution, bringing our graphics to life with stunning clarity! In keeping with the evening's natural aesthetic, ceiling trusses were draped in foliage, beautifully installed by Hokkus Pokkus. 🌿

Thank you, Fiskars and Lagus Productions, for your trust — and a huge shoutout to Capital AV for the flawless technical production. Here’s to 375 more years of Fiskars! 🥂✨

This weekend, the battle for the CS2 championship took over Espoo’s Metro Arena with the thrilling Elisa Masters tournament! We had the privilege to design the stage and programming the lighting for this intense event.

The setup featured an impressive 200m² of LED screens, with the main 13-meter-wide screen opening up using Cybermotion technology to create a dramatic entrance for the players. In addition to pre-programmed lighting sequences, we integrated real-time data from the game itself, syncing the lights to react to the action on stage.

We are suckers for some interesting projection mapping projects, and this time we were asked to do a projection mapping piece for the beautiful Halikko Church in Salo.

In this project we wanted to emphasise the beautiful architecture of this 15th century church, and to create something to admire calmly in this hectic and vivid world.

Congratulations to the newly crowned Miss Finland 2024, Matilda Wirtavuori! 👑 We had the privilege of being part of the stunning Miss Finland finale at Aino Areena, overseeing the stage’s visual design and visual show production. Together with the Miss Finland organization, we carefully planned the screen content to align with the live TV broadcast, and all lighting was designed with TV cameras in mind.

The technical production was expertly handled by Capital AV.

The legendary StepUp School Spring Show once again marked the end of the spring season with a vibrant celebration just before summer. This two-day event featured six unique shows, each packed with different performances, totaling 132 dance acts, all requiring precise and dynamic lighting.

Capital AV has partnered with this event for many years, we relish the opportunity to explore new designs and lighting cues each time. The greatest challenge for our light operator is the fast-paced nature of the event, seeing each performance only once during dress rehearsal before it’s showtime, necessitating quick and decisive actions.

The ongoing cola wars continue as Pepsi unveils its revamped visual identity with a spectacular promotional event for Pepsi Max across three locations in Helsinki during May Day!

Our mission? Crafting three unique stages for top DJs, each adorned with an impressive array of LED screens to showcase Pepsi Max’s dynamic new branding. We were also tasked to produce video content for the LED-screens. From navigating logistical hurdles to overcoming tight build-up deadlines, we meticulously planned every detail during the design and pre-production phases. Technical production was in the good hands of Capital AV ✨

At the heart of each stage was the pulsating rhythm of Finland’s top DJs, synchronized seamlessly with visuals that danced to the beat. After crafting bespoke video content and integrating Pepsi’s branding, we embarked on an innovative journey: programming our media servers and light consoles to sync with the BPM data from the DJ gear. The solution we came up with not only elevated the event’s energy but also opened up exciting possibilities for future productions.
