Our team members are making an online cource about shield and spear. First videos are now shot. We will post teasers "soon".

Huge thanks to Shms Suomen Historiallisen Miekkailun Seura for collaboration. The gym was a fantastic place to shoot at. We hope the magical feeling of the place is precent on the finall product. We aim to get the product out for summer. The plan is to publish it in Dimicators web shop.

Holding the spear using three fingers... this is the way.

Now one should also pay attention to the two fingers that are free "under" the saft. Just brilliant details.

Arttu Peltoniemi and Julius Väliaho wisited Ribe Bouts. The trip was planned by Harri Hihnala and the event organized by the Dimicator. As part of the bout Arttu held a two part workshop on shield and spear. Read all about in dimicators public post.

Hirdmenn member Arttu Peltoniemi has gotten first article out about hes work on prehistoric dance. We found this to be important reference as the working method done around prehistoric dance is fairly similar to the one done around prehistoric combat.

There are ofcourse many that have gotten their work scientificly published, mentioning for example Dimicator, Weapons Combat Systems, and our own Sasa. Getting this fresh article out feels to be a strong case for our method of approaching prehistorical combat.
