Wars are not forces of nature. Wars are started and put to end by people.

It takes two seconds for a man to put a gun down. It takes a lot of resolve from all to get to that two seconds

’Resolve’ was created back in the day to honor the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to CMI - a peace broker organization from Finland.

Sharing this piece today, as it is more important now, than ever to realise that there is always a way out of a conflict and it can only be found by seeing with one another.

As a very wise russian once said:

’If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?’

War is terrible. Civil war is horrible - and when war ends, comes the moment when we need to find a way to continue the lives that were spared. A way to go on even with the person who killed your son, the wife who’s husband murdered your’s. To look into the eyes of the little girl, whom you made an orphan.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to President Martti Ahtisaari.
Feeling so overwhelmed - realising how lucky we are to be able to live in a place without conflict - we felt honored to be given the opportunity to celebrate the Nobel and create this piece for CMI, the non-governmental organization founded by President Ahtisaari. A brave group of Peace Brokers, determined - true heroes of war - trying to resolve conflicts around the world.

It is absolutely ridiculous that we live in a world where PEACE needs to be negotiated, it should be a totally NON-negotiable state of being.

Please spread ’Resolve’ and if possible, donate to CMI.
