The first Endstand album To Whom It May Concern to be released on vinyl first time ever!

Memories from recording our first album are very positive; we had found our own way of making music and played enough shows to be a tight machine to record and album worth of songs in just a couple of days. It was a hot June of 1999 when we entered Astia Studio for the first time. The way Anssi Kippo handled the recording made a great impression on us and he really caught the band on tape the way we wanted.

This vinyl was supposed to be released same time as the CD, but a friend who was going to do the release ran out of money and the release was delayed – 26 years! We are so happy to have Combat Rock Industry releasing this record. Now the artwork finally is the way we wanted and a new mastering by Jarno Alho ensures the vinyl sounds just like it’s supposed to!

Kun toukokuista keikkaa aloimme suunnittelemaan, tarkoitus oikeasti oli soittaa vain yksi keikka. Sitten se myi hetkessä loppuun, tuli toinen keikka. Sekin meni viikossa täyteen ja sen jälkeen olemme saaneet lukuisia yhteydenottoja toiveena soittaa lisää keikkoja. Koska meillä on treeneissä ollut aivan hemmetin hauskaa ja noiden biisien soittaminen tuntuu todella hyvältä, ajattelimme sitten hieman tehdä enemmänkin…

Jotta saamme tuleviin keikkoihin jotain erityistä myös, pyysimme mukaan amerikkalaiset ystävämme Strike Anywheren! Kaikki meistä ovat rakastaneet bändin musiikkia uransa alusta asti ja koska jäsenetkin ovat erittäin hienoja ihmisiä, ajattelimme että koska he eivät oikein muuten Suomeen pääse tulemaan, otetaan heidät keikoillemme mukaan. Tämä on meille todella suuri kunnia saada yksi maailman hienoimmista bändeistä mukaan – toivottavasti te olette yhtä innoissanne asiasta kuin me olemme!!

Keikkojen liput tulevat myyntiin huomenna kello 9:00 aamulla, linkit alla.

Ja tiedoksenne, tulemme tekemään kesällä vielä kourallisen festarikeikkojakin. Montaa niitä ei tule olemaan, m***a koska sellaisiinkin tuli nyt mahdollisuus, otetaan tilaisuus vastaan ja juhlitaan ystävyyttä ja musiikin parantavaa voimaa oikein huolella!!

When we started to plan our show in May 2025 we honestly thought it’d be only one off. Well, that show sold out in no time, so we added another one, which also sold out quick. We’ve been getting messages ever since that we should play more, so everyone would have a chance to see us. So, we decided to add a couple of more shows and to make those events special too, we invited our dear friends Strike Anywhere from the US to join us. We are so happy to have them over – ever since their first release we all have loved the band and we all still do! Having them playing with us is a huge honor – hope you are as excited as we are!!

The tickets for these special shows will go on sale tomorrow morning 9:00 Finnish time / 8:00 CET. Links for the tickets below.

And just so you know, we will play a handful of festival shows Summer 2025 too, they’ll be announced a bit later. This all is just too much fun to turn down the offers we get – let’s try to take everything out of this joy once we get ourselves ready to play again!!
