I look into the horizon
I see a shadow of what I shall become
I have grown as a person
You can see it from my eyes
They have endured pain
They have seen despair and darkness
I wonder
Where does my path lead?
I am a lone wanderer
Seeking for redemption
For I have fallen
And there is a long way to climb
I regret nothing
Life is my testament
And after each turn I have taken
Now I am here
I have tasted pain
Suffering and agony
And this is what makes me strong
For I have seen death to an eye
I have endured
And now I know myself
There is nothing that can stand before me and stand
For all opposition falters before me
There was a day
Darkness ignored me
It saw was me as a failure
But those days are long gone
They know what is coming
And they flee before my eyes
For light is my savior
My mentor and master
Whatever you face in life
You can grow
The more pain you endure
The more you will learn
I have tasted death
And each scar I have endured
Is a testament of my unbroken will
For I have risen
And I smile
For I know
No matter what happens
I can face it with hands held high
It seemed I had lost it all
There was no where left to thread
But they were wrong
For from the deepest slumber of darkness
I have risen once again
They laughed at me
They said I was done
But they were wrong
For I knew there is a way
No matter how narrow the path
Never give up
And one day
You thank yourself for a thousand times
For from the darkest chambers of death
There is a way into the light
No matter how small
It is there
Trust in yourself
You can do it
Nothing can stand before you
When you have a smallest glimmer of light in your heart
Don't let it fade
Nurture it
Pray and fast
The way is before you
You are needed
Loved and cared for
You just need to believe in yourself
Believe the one above is by your side
And you will be the victor
No matter the odds
For darker the darkness in your hands
The brighter the light shines in your heart
