🧶 MISSÄ ON SINUN LEMPIPAIKKASI KEHRÄTÄ? 🧶

Itse viihdyn kaikkein parhaiten sohvannurkassa kehräämässä. ❤ Sähkörukin rauhallinen humina tekee hetkestä erityisen rentouttavan, ja usein saan myös nelijalkaisen ystävän seurakseni. 🐶

Tällä kertaa kuvaushetki taisi kuitenkin hieman häiritä koiraamme. 😅 Ilmeestä päätellen hän olisi mieluummin jatkanut päiväunia sohvalla kuin poseerannut kameralle. 💤

I enjoy spinning most when I'm curled up in a cozy corner of the sofa. ❤ The gentle hum of my e-spinner makes the moment especially relaxing, and I often have a four-legged companion by my side. 🐶

This time, however, our dog seemed a little less than impressed by the photo session. 😅 Judging by the expression, she would have much preferred to continue his nap on the sofa than pose for the camera. 💤

Ennen kuin kerit langan kerälle, kannattaa selvittää sen pituus. 📏✨

Se onnistuu yllättävän helposti:
🧶 Laske vyyhdin lankojen lukumäärä
🧶 Kerro se vyyhdin ympärysmitalla

Esimerkiksi:
Jos käytät Ashfordin normaalikokoista viipsinpuuta, vyyhdin ympärysmitta on 1,5 m.
👉 184 lankaa x 1,5 m = 276 m lankaa
Jos vyyhti painaa 147 g:
👉 276 m / 147 g x 100 = 188 m / 100 g
Näin saat selville langan juoksevuuden. 💛

Before winding your yarn into a ball, it’s useful to calculate its length. 📏✨

It’s easier than you might think:
🧶 Count the number of wraps in your skein
🧶 Multiply it by the circumference of the skein

For example:
With a standard Ashford niddy noddy, the circumference is 1.5 m.
👉 184 wraps × 1.5 m = 276 m of yarn
If the skein weighs 147 g:
👉 276 m / 147 g × 100 = 188 m / 100 g
This gives you the yarn’s meterage. 💛

It helps you to:
✨ Plan your projects
✨ Estimate if your yarn is enough
✨ Understand yarn weight

Viimeinen silaus, melkein valmista! 💛
Valmis vyyhti pääsee kylpyyn. 🛁🧶

Tämä tarkoittaa sitä, että laitat vyyhdin vatiin tai altaaseen reilusti kättä lämpimämpään veteen kylpemään vähintään tunniksi.
Veden joukkoon kannattaa lisätä muutama tippa esimerkiksi käsisaippuaa
(älä käytä fairya tai mäntysuopaa) ✨

Pesu:
✨ Rentouttaa säikeet
✨ Tasapainottaa kierteet
✨ Pehmentää langan

Kun lanka kuivuu…
se on valmis käyttöön 😍

(avoid dish soap or strong cleaners) ✨

Washing:

✨ Balances the twist
✨ Softens the yarn

Once the yarn dries…
it’s ready to use 😍
