Ashenda.net Ashenda is the special caltural holly day which is celebreted in the North region of Ethiopia. This holly day lasts for about one week.

The actors of the Festival are ladies of age 12-20. Ashenda is the golden week for the people of Northern Ethiopia especially for the young girls there. The girls celebrate it wearing special clothes decorated with "Ashenda" tree. During this time all girls look great and beautiful. They gather together with some materials like a drum to play their music and other small "mesobs" to collect some money that they can get from ....................
