🇲🇹🇪🇹 Day 2 | Malta–Ethiopia Dance Exchange

Day 2 continued with the dance workshop at Alliance Ethio-Française, bringing Maltese and Ethiopian dancers together for creative exchange.

The day also offered an opportunity to explore Ethiopia’s rich musical and dance traditions through visits to Yared School of Music and Addis Ababa University, as well as a meeting with Melaku Belay, founder and founding director of Fendika Cultural Center.

These encounters provided valuable insight into Ethiopia’s artistic and cultural landscape, while opening conversations on how the connections made during this visit can develop into lasting relationships and future opportunities for collaboration between Maltese and Ethiopian artists and institutions.

A day of learning, connecting and laying the foundations for continued cultural exchange. 🇲🇹🤝🇪🇹

Supported by the Cultural Diplomacy Fund of the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Malta.
